Why I’m Running

With significant changes in provincial funding, ongoing challenges due to demographic pressures, and a pressing need for new facilities across our District, these are challenging times for the North Vancouver School District. More than ever we need to elect School Trustees with deep experience with the issues at hand, as well as a vision for moving our schools forward.

Cindy will work to:

1. Find solutions to deal with the constraints caused by declining enrollment east of the Seymour River.
2. Develop programs that keep students in North Van, and that attract students to our district.
3. Ensure that existing capital projects are completed on time and on budget, while advocating for provincial approval needed for capital expenditures to upgrade schools over the next 5 to 7 years.

On September 19th, vote for a vision of something better, and the experience to turn vision into reality.
